
I’m Lindsay Johnson (LJ), somatic healer, yoga teacher, and creator of SOMAMVMNT & The Wild Body. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. This space is about coming back to your body, reconnecting with yourself, and discovering the freedom and presence that’s always been inside you.
For a long time, I carried experiences that left me feeling disconnected from my body and unsure how to navigate life with safety and self-trust. This showed up in patterns that kept me stuck and in challenges in relationships, including navigating divorce and other big life transitions.
Through yoga, breathwork, and somatic healing, I learned to work with my body and emotions with compassion. I discovered how my experiences were held in my system, and I learned tools for building safety, regulating my nervous system, releasing old patterns, and developing resilience. This work helped me feel more grounded, more present, and more connected to my own strength and wisdom.
The Wild Body grew from this journey. It’s a space to guide others back to their own bodies and their own truth. Here, we focus on reclaiming your softness, remembering your wildness, standing in your power, and creating a life rooted in authenticity, self-regulation, and self-love. This isn’t just about movement—it’s about listening to your body, healing old patterns, building safety, and developing resilience.
With over 20 years of experience in yoga, breathwork, and somatic practices, I bring these tools to my work in a grounded and compassionate way. I’ve trained with leaders like Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, and Peter Levine, and I blend modern somatic science with ancient wisdom to support your personal growth and transformation.
Through SOMAMVMNT and The Wild Body, I create spaces for embodied learning, healing, and self-discovery. My hope is that here you feel seen, supported, and encouraged to reconnect with your body, your emotions, and your power—and to move through life with more presence, safety, and freedom.
